Lentils with Lemon and Chard

- 2 cups lentils
- 7 cups water
- 2 cups chard, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 medium onions, chopped fine
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pinch of cumin
- pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup flour
Methods/steps
- Cook lentils in the water for approximately 25 minutes. Add chard and cook for an additional 30 minutes. Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add flour, lemon juice and mix well. Add to lentil mixture. Simmer for 15 minutes.
