New York Strip Steaks with Tarragon Butter
Ingredients
- 4 New York Stip Steaks 1 inch thick
- 1 teaspoon garlic pepper
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 1 Tablespoon fresh Tarragon chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Methods/steps
- Sprinkle steaks with garlic pepper, set aside.
- Preheat grill to high direct heat.
- Blend softened butter, tarragon and Worcestershire in a small bowl. Cover and set aside.
- Combine onion and garlic,drizzle with olive oil. Place on 12 inch piece of foil, wrap into a small packet.
- Place steaks and foil packet on grill. Grill covered for 4-6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Remove foil packet after 5 minutes.
- Remove steaks from grill. Stir onion mixture in butter mixture. Top steaks with butter.
