Bitternut Brie

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened

1 1/2 cup finely-chopped pecans

2 tsp, cognac or rum

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon Juice

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 (8-oz.) rounds ripe brie
Methods/steps

Mix all ingredients except brie until blended and smooth.

Place 1 round brie on serving platter. Spread 1/2 of mixture over brie as if frosting a cake. Top with second round and frost the rest of it.

Chill 30 minutes before serving.

Serve with bland biscuits or French Bread
