Pomegranates are easier to open than you think. Pomegranates are chock full of antioxidants and vitamin C. How to open a pomegranate
With a sharp knife, cut the top off a little below the crown.
Once the top is off you will see four to six sections. With your knife point score the skin at each section
Separate at each score so you have individual sections.
Over a bowl of water, use your fingers to loosen the "arils" anTo make juice you just put the seeds in a blender, pulse a few times, strain the juice and discard the seeds. Reward yourself for all your hard work, have a Pomegrante Martini.d drop them into a bowl. The seeds will sink to the bottom. You can submerge the sections in a bowl of water to loosen the seeds.
Using a spoon, scoop out the pieces of white membrane that have floated to the top. Strain the water off.
You now have your tart-sweet ruby kernels.
To make juice you just put the seeds in a blender, pulse a few times, strain the juice and discard the seeds. Reward yourself for all your hard work, have a Pomegrante Martini.
