Summer Shrimp Pasta
This is a little twist I put on Shrimp Scampi since I had some left over alfredo sauce in the fridge.
Ingredients
- 8 oz of thin spaghetti
- 1 teaspon or so of olive oil
- 1/2 heaping cup of chopped onion
- 1/2 lb of Shrimp raw
- 1 Tablespoon. bottled minced garlic
- 1/4 dry white wine
- Buitoni Light Alfredo Sauce
- cup of chop tomatoes
- 4 fresh basil leaves chopped
Methods/steps
- While pasta is cooking, heat the olive. Sautee the onion over medium heat. Add shrimp and garlic, sautee until shrimp turns pink. Add wine stir, add alfredo sauce, tomatoes, and basil Stir until heated through.
- Serve over pasta
Additional Tips
Most of time I use pre-cooked shrimp from the seafood counter. Add the amount of alfredo sauce depending on taste.
