Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Description
Sour Cream Coffee Cake with pecans, cinnamon and brown sugar.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups sifted cake flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Topping:
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 4 Tablespoons brown sugar
Methods/steps
- In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to the mixture. Put half the batter in a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Sprinkle half the topping over the batter. Add remaining batter. Add remaining topping.
- Bake at 350F for 55-60 minutes.
- Cool thoroughly before removing from pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
