Roasted Sesame Potatoes
Description
Roasted Sesame Potatoes are a great favorite for my friends and family.
Ingredients
At a glance
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 8 medium baking potatoes peeled and cut into 1 inch thick crosswise slices.
- 3/4 sesame seeds
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
Methods/steps
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan with 1 Tablespoon butter.
- Place sliced potatoes in a bowl of cold water.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds on a sheet of waxed paper. Dry potato slices and dip into melted butter one slice at a time then pressing one side down on the sesame seeds.
- Place the slices, seed side up in the greased baking pan.
- Sprinkle with salt and paprika.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until done.
