Roasted Asparagus
Description
This is a great vegetable to pop in the oven while cooking your main dish.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Fresh parmesan cheese
Methods/steps
- Snap the bottoms off of the asparagus. This is done by holding the asparagus by the very end and midway up the stalk. Then snap.
- Mix together the garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice in a shallow dish, big enough to hold the asparagus. Mix asparagus and olive oil mixture well.
- Bake in the oven at 350 for approx 40 minutes while cooking other items - or - cook at your desired temperature and adjust cooking time. Toss the asparagus half way through cooking.
- Grate fresh parmesan cheese on top just prior to serving.
