1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon of your favorite hot sauce, or more to taste
