Pork Chop Parmigiana
Description
Pork Chops with an Italian twist.
Ingredients
- 6 large pork chops
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella, sliced thin
Methods/steps
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Dip the pork chops into the flour, the eggs and then bread crumbs.
- In a skillet, heat oil and brown chops on each side for about 10 minutes. Remove from skillet and place in baking dish.
- Cover with tomato sauce and grated cheese. Place mozzarella on top. Bake at 350F until mozzarella melts.
Additional Tips
Always cook pork to an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
