This sweet concoction tastes just like a mint julep without the alcohol. Add fresh lemon or lime slices as a garnish. The longer the mint leaves are allowed to stay in the pitcher the more mint taste your julep will have.
- 2 cups of cold water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup of sugar
- 8 mint leaves
- Ginger Ale
Pour the cold water into a pitcher.Add the lemon juice and whisk until blended in well.Dump in the sugar and whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.Add the mint leaves to the pitcher.Pour in enough ginger ale to fill the pitcher to the top.Serve over ice or chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
