Mediterranean Style Tilapia
Description
Easy stove top or electric skillet meal. Love the capers and feta cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 Tilapia filets
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 28 ounce can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup white wine
- 3 Tablespoons capers
- feta cheese
Methods/steps
- In a large skillet over medium heat saute the onion and arlic in the olive oil. Add oregano, basil, tomatoes, capers and white wine. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Add filets to the top. Simmer covered until fish flakes with a fork. (about 20 minutes)
- Place fish on serving place and sprinkle with feta cheese.
