Marinated Shrimp
If you don't count peeling the shrimp, this is a really nice and easy recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 Tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 pounds cooked and cleaned shrimp
Methods/steps
- To cook the shrimp: Bring enough water to barely cover the shrimp. Bring to a boil and cook for approx. 3 minutes
- Mix sugar, salt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, catsup, vinegar and oil.
- Place in a covered container with shrimp, onion and bay leaf.
- Marinate 24 hours.
