This is perfect to serve to those hungry guys during their big game party. Better make 2 because they are sure to go fast. You can leave out the spinach if you wish. Add other pizza toppings such as pepperoni, olives, onions and green peppers if you prefer.
1 (13.8 oz.) can refrigerated pizza crust
1 (8 oz.) can pizza sauce
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 lb. bulk Italian sausage, cooked and drained well
1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar mushrooms, sliced and drained well
1 (8 oz.) pkg. mozzarella cheese, shredded
Allow the oven to preheat to 400 degrees.
Roll the pizza crust out onto an ungreased baking sheet and form into a 14X11 inch rectangle.
Spread the pizza sauce over the long half of the dough to within 1/2 inch of the edges.
Layer the spinach onto the dough.
Add the sausage and mushrooms evenly over the spinach.
Sprinkle the cheese over the top.
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal shut.
Bake 35 minutes or until the dough is a golden brown.
Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
