This recipe is great for girls night in. Pour a big glass of red wine get in the kitchen. Every one can help...just keep the wine glasses filled! - - Eleanor
Ingredients
- 1 pound of Spicy or Sweet Italian sausage.
- 1 clove of Garlic
- 1/2 pound of sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 Tablespoon of butter
- 1 pound of pasta
- 1 cup chopped parsley
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
Methods/steps
- Remove casing from sausage links, cut into small pieces and saute in skillet. Drain. Saute garlic, mushrooms, and onion in butter. Mix sausage with mushroom mixture, set aside, keep warm. Cook pasta and drain. Mix together pasta, sausage-mushroom mixture, parsley, cheese, and cream. Heat through and serve with crusty bread.
Additional Tips
Try all types of pasta, fresh spinach etc.
