Hummus
Description
Mom's recipe for Hummus. Serve with Pita or crackers
Ingredients
4 Tablespoons Tahini (sesame seed puree)
1 Tablespoon water
1 can chickpeas drained (reserve some liquid)
4 Tablespoons lemon juice
2-4 cloves garlic (or more to taste)
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 Tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Methods/steps
Put all ingredients except olive oil in a food processor process until smooth. Add water or reserved chickpea liquid until desired consistency is reached.
Top with olive oil.
Decorate with chopped parsley
