Creamy Italian Crockpot Chicken
Creamy Italian Crockpot Chicken can be served over rice or noodles.
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 pkg Italian dressing mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 package (8 ounces) low fat cream cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- cooked rice or noodles
Methods/steps
- Place chicken in crock pot. Mix the Italian dressing mix with the water, pour over chicken.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
- Mix together cream cheese and soup in separate bowl.
- Remove chicken from crock pot, leaving the liquid.
- Pour the cream cheese and soup mixture into crock pot and mix together with dressing in bottom.
- Return chicken to crock pot and mix gently.
- Cook on low until thoroughly heated.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
Additional Tips
If you need to thin the sauce add a small amount of milk until desired consistency is reached.
