Chocolate Chip Walnut Pie
Description
This is so good served warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
Ingredients

3 eggs, slightly beaten

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/4 cup light corn syrup

2/3 cup walnuts

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1 (9 inch) pie sheet, unbaked.
Methods/steps

Combine the first five ingredients. Mix until well blended. Stir in walnuts and chocolate morsels. Pour mixture into a pie shell and bake at 400F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes or until evenly puffed on top and starting to crack.

Serve warm with whipped cream.
Additional Tips
This freezes well. To serve after freezing, heat thawed and unwrapped pie at 350F for 15 minutes.
