Shrimp Tortilla Canape

Ingredients
- 4 corn or flour tortillas
- 8 prawns, peeled and deveined , or shrimps or langoustine
- 4 Tbsp vegetable oil
- Half red pepper, cut into strips
- Half red onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 green chilli, sliced
- 1 Tbsp oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 Tbsp lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 frying pan
- Tongs
- 1 spoon
- 1 bowl
Methods/steps
Step 1: Warm The Tortillas
Place the frying pan over a moderate heat. Once warm, add both tortillas, and let them heat up for about a minute and a half. Then turn them over, warm the other side for a further minute and remove.

Step 2: Make The Shrimp Mix
Using the same pan, add the oil followed by the red pepper, green chilli, onion, garlic, shrimp, oregano and paprika. Season with salt and pepper and stir well, turning the vegetables as you go.
Finally add the lime juice and then remove the pan from the heat.

Step 3: Fill The Tortillas And Serve
Place a few shrimp, plus some of the vegetables onto each tortilla. Then fold them up, serve with a dollop of guacamole and eat while hot.
