Ham - Sweet and Spicy
Sweet and Spicy Ham recipe. The pepper jelly gives the heat while the pineapple preserves give it the sweetness.
Ingredients

1 (approx 6 lb) fully cooked ham half

Vegetable cooking spray

1/2 cup red pepper jelly

1/2 cup pineapple preserves

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

3/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Methods/steps

Trim fat from ham. Score outside of ham in diamond pattern.

Place ham on rack coated with cooking spray; place rack in broiler pan.

Combine jelly and remaining ingredients, stirring with a whisk until well blended. Brush about one-third of jelly mixture over ham.

Bake at 425° for 5 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 325°. (Do not remove ham from oven.)

Bake 45 more minutes, basting ham with jelly mixture every 25 minutes.

Transfer ham to a serving platter, let stand 15 minutes before slicing.
